Fresh Corn On The Cob

One of co workers brought me a few of these fresh corns yesterday.  I love fresh corn!  I boiled them and had them for dinner.  They tasted really good!  Reminds me of when we go to the farmers market in Trinidad and Tobago, you can get these fresh corn in abundance when they are in season.  Here are a few recipes that I make with these fresh corn:  Boil Corn and Curry Corn

I got it!  Earlier on in the year, there were a few flamingos in one of the Beef Island ponds and I was not able to zoom in close enough to take good pictures.  That started my search to get a zooms lens for my Nikon D60 DSLR camera.  I eventually purchased a Nikkor 55or-200mm lens.  

Yesterday I saw this bird in the pond and I did not take my camera with me.  I did so this morning and yep, the bird was there!

Large Aircraft At Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport British Virgin Islands

Yesterday on my way home from work, I saw this aircraft on the runway getting ready to take off.  It is not a regular sight to see this type of plane in our airport.  So luckily I had my camera with me so I stopped and took some pictures.  

The plane was waiting for another one to land so of course I took pictures of the one that was approaching the airport.

You can actually see the pilots in the cock pit.  I like the fact that I was able to get my camera to focus on the plane and not on the fence that was the object before the plane.  Great!

Leave Me A Note

 I am using New Paint to enhance my photos and am having alot of fun with them.  It is amazing that you can achieve an 'new' photo by just choosing another option.  The next thing I have work on is maybe putting my name and copyright markings on my photos.  Just have to find the easiest way of doing this!
