Invitation to submit your beach pictures

The company that hosts my recipe website recently introducted a new feature which enables me to invite my visitors to make contributions.  The contributions will then be edited and published by me.  It is an awesome feature.

I will like now to invite you  contribute your favorite beach pictures and any stories that you may have about the topic.  Looking forward to receiving your input.

Please Back Up

I should know better.  Many years ago when I was new in computer field, my job entailed editing the company's financial documents using a software called PageMaker.  One day, after spending hours on a file, I lost it!!!  I was so upset,  and disappointed with myself that I was not saving AND backing up my file periodically.

You would have thought that I learned my lesson.  About a month ago my compuer crashed and eventhough I was backing up my files, apparently I was not backing up often enough.  I had to change my hard drive and am now realizing that I did not retrieve alot of my pictures.

So folks, being in the photography field, it is important to back up your files maybe once a week.  Remember moments lost cannot be regained.

I have two Jump Drives, the red one has a capacity of 1GB and the other one, 8GB.

My son recently bought this external hard drive and it has a capacity of 250GB!!!  It looks like a note book!

DJ

Digicel (a cell phone company) had a promotion yesterday and a local radio station (ZROD FM) was broadcasting the event.  My daughter worked at the radio staiton for some time and I knew some of the workers, so I decided to approach one of them and take some pictures.  I don't know this guy but he was the DJ (disk jockey) and posed for me.

Technology has really come a long way, I remember in the days when my husband did DJing as a hobby, he had to walk with a set of records and cassettes.  Now all you have to do is walk with your laptop with your music saved on it!
